01 · The leak
Problem.
HG's e-commerce team was running on three browser tabs: Shopify for orders, a separate tool for fulfilment SLAs, and Meta Ads for spend. Every morning meeting started with someone reading numbers off three screens. No one had a clean view of margin by channel.
02 · The build
Build.
A React + Tailwind dashboard wired into the three APIs. Daily revenue, channel mix, fulfilment SLA, ad spend, and per-product margin, all refreshed live. Built around the questions they actually asked in standup, not generic e-commerce KPIs.
03 · The shift
Result.
The morning meeting now opens with the dashboard on screen. Channel decisions are made on the actual margin number instead of the gross-sales feel. Three tabs collapsed to one.
